Nguyen, C0ng-BangMr. Bang C. Nguyen
Founder / President
Since 1992, Mr. Bang Nguyen has been devoted to local community activities, as well as several humanitarian and civil society projects in Vietnam.
Mr. Bang Nguyen is the founder of the Hoa-Mai Club (the private humanitarian group prior to the forming of The VIDAN Foundation, Inc.) formed in California in 2005. He is also the founder of Radio Hoa-Mai, a shortwave radio program broadcasts to Vietnam to promote cultural exchange and the spirit of democracy and freedom.
Prior to the Hoa-Mai Club, Mr. Nguyen formed the Social Assistance Program for Vietnam (SAP-VN) a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian organization based in Garden Grove, California in 1992. SAP-VN's primary objective is to provide direct relief to poor and needy people, especially orphans and handicapped children, mainly in health care, education, and social welfare. He retired from the SAP-VN in 1996 after it was successfully established to continue his humanitarian works in different sectors.
Mr. Bang Nguyen is also well known for his devotion to supporting pro-democracy and human-rights campaigns for Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen ordained as a Theravāda Buddhist monk in 2015, known as Rev. Ashin Buddhanyana, currently practicing in Texas (USA).

  

Mr. Trung Q. Nguyen
Treasurer
Mr. Trung Nguyen is an active group member of the Hoa-Mai Club since 2005 and a successful business entrepreneur.
He has been supporting several charity projects in the USA and Vietnam as well, including Hoa-Mai Club's humanitarian pilot programs.
Mr. Trung Nguyen was co-founder and is a board member of the Scholarship for Higher Education, a non-profit in California, formed to support the needy university students in Vietnam since 2011.
 

  

Nanda AnNhien 120pMs. Anh N. Trinh
Board Member, Program Director
Ms. Anh Trinh is holding two Bachelor's degrees in Finance and Business Management.
She is a co-founder of Hoa-Mai Club and actively contributing her time for the group since 2005 as a Program Coordinator, and Program Director of Radio Hoa-Mai - a shortwave radio program broadcasts to Vietnam to promote cultural exchange and the spirit of democracy and freedom.
She has been active with several charitable and community activities in the Houston area (Texas) since 2006.
She is currently contributing her experience and talents to the Vietnam-American Community Center, a non-profit organization in Houston, Texas as the Director of Viet-Am Entertainment, providing cultural and entertainment activities for the members of the community.
She was also active with Buddhist Youth activities as well as other charity works in Vietnam.
Ms. Anh Trinh has ordained a Theravāda Buddhist Buddhist Nun, known as Nanda.
 
 
Mr. Tien Nang Tuong
Board Member
Mr. Tien N. Tuong (Tưởng Năng Tiến in Vietnamese) is a resident of San Jose, California, earned his B.A. in Sociology and Master of Social Work (focus on mental health) from San Jose State University in 1989. He has had a license to work as a mental health therapist since 1995 and worked for the Santa Clara County Department of Health/Mental Health (California) from 1990 to 2014. He is also a freelance writer and currently writes for Radio Free Asia as a contributing blogger. His articles are republished on several Vietnamese mass media in many countries and on the internet.
Mr. Tien N. Tuong has been an active supporter of the Hoa-Mai Humanitarian Club and also well known for his devotion to supporting pro-democracy and human-rights campaigns for Vietnam.

 

Mr. Hoang V. Nguyen
Board Member, Secretary
Mr. Hoang Nguyen is an active group member of the Hoa-Mai Club since 2005.
For over the last 30 years he has been supporting several charity projects in Houston, Dallas (Texas), and Vietnam as well, including Hoa-Mai Club's humanitarian pilot programs.
He is an instructor of the Vovinam, a Vietnamese traditional martial art Vovinam's disciples vow to pursue high proficiency in their martial art in order to serve the people and humanity.
He is currently working at Owens Corning Roofing in Dallas, Texas.
 

 

Mr. Vu T. Pham
Board Member 
Mr. Vu Pham has a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Old Dominion.
He is a group member of the Hoa-Mai Club (the humanitarian group prior to the forming of The VIDAN Foundation, Inc.).
He has been supporting several charity projects in Richmond (Virginia) and Vietnam as well, including Hoa-Mai Club's humanitarian pilot programs.
Mr. Vu Pham is currently working at ECMMS in Richmond, Virginia.
