    MISSION STATEMENT

To inspire and empower underprivileged people by offering care and education.

    About the Organization

The ViDan Foundation (VDF) initially formed in 2006 as a private humanitarian group named Hoa-Mai Humanitarian Club (Câu lạc bộ Hoa-Mai in Vietnamese) and was incorporated as a non-profit organization under IRS section 501(c)3 in March 2014.

Hoa Mai Club conducted several pilot humanitarian projects in Vietnam and Cambodia; helping the children and needy people within the limited sources of private contributions from friends and group members.

Most of the activities have cooperated with Vietnam Compassion Association (in France), and the UBCV for charity projects in Vietnam. VDF is currently supporting humanitarian programs of the United Buddhist Church of Vietnam (UBCV) as well as from the Christian, Hoa-Hao Buddhism and Catholic Humanitarian groups.

In 2013 Hoa-Mai Humanitarian Club expanded its services to needy people in Cambodia by collaborating with the Minority Rights Organization (MIRO) and Reliance of Humanity International Organization (RHIO).

In general, the VIDAN Foundation, Inc.’s purpose is to inspire trust in humanity and hope for needy people through humanitarian efforts. We will lead, support, and collaborate with a broad network of efforts, ideas, and organizations that share our vision to provide humanitarian services to those who most require assistance.

A large portion of the people who are living in Vietnam and neighboring countries of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar are still in need of humanitarian services.
